The first day
The very first foreign airplane arriving at airport Jaromer, and its, of course, a Lithuanian one.
We had a nice trip to the Josefov fortress nearby the airport. The fortress was built in 19th century, before the Autrian-Prussian war to protect the city, but never used. It is really HUGE and nicely preserved, a Czech way...
Antonov 2's at the end of the first day.

This looks like a great aviation event. Nice pictures. What type of camera are you using? Do you have any more pictures? Was this a one day event? The fortress looks very interesting, too. Were you able to get inside of any of the aircraft?

Hi Ted!
I'm using Canon Digital Ixus 30 camera. It's very small, but the photos are really good.
AN-2 meeting, ussualy, is a 4 day event. You can find more photos in www.an2meeting2005.blogspot.com (you should click on the photo of your interest).

Of course we were able to get into aircrafts. I, as the participant of the meeting, had 4 or 5 flights during this meeting with different AN-2's. This year I came to the meeting by car, because the only AN-2 from Lithuania (I'm from Lithuania) was full.
The next meeting will be held in Poland, Jelenia Gura. This is actually only ~100 km away from Jeromer, where the 9th meeting was held.
